    Formerly known as the National Mental Health Association, Mental Health America is the country’s leading nonprofit dedicated to helping all people live mentally healthier lives.
  • National Alliance on Mental Illness  
    NAMI is a grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of persons living with serious mental illness and their families.
  • National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse  
    The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse (CASA) provides a comprehensive directory of links to federal, state, local, and international non-profit substance abuse resources. CASA is maintained by Columbia University.
  • National Institute of Mental Health  
    U.S. Department of Health and Human Services website provides information to the public, researchers, and clinicians on a wide range of mental disorders affecting adults and children.
  • National Institute on Drug Abuse  
    National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) provides current substance abuse and addiction information with a focus on prevention, treatment, and community service. NIDA includes information on all common drugs of abuse.
